Long-time Party member Danny Rubin makes the case, citing not-widely-known evidence and his own personal experiences at that time, that the CPUSA had a significant impact on the struggle for civil rights and African American equality.

This was recorded at a Black History Month event in Brooklyn, NY, sponsored by the Brooklyn club of the CPUSA and the People's Weekly World Newspaper.

If you're interested in continuing the struggle for African-American equality today, Join the Communist Party USA!
