Student debt has exceeded $1.2 trillion. One third of black
men are serving time in prison, and young black men are 21
times more likely to be killed by police than whites.
Republicans are attacking DACA and aiming to deport more
undocumented students. At the same time, unemployment
persists at eighty percent for youth of color, and voter ID
laws have quelled youth voter turnout in many states.
What do we say? Stand up, fight back, VOTE!

In Florida, CPUSA members are plugged into elections work
across the state. In the lead up to the primaries, we were
making phone calls and canvassing alongside our labor allies
for a team of seven union members running for local
non-partisan school board and city races.

The month of August was a busy one and this one looks no

three day training of district leaders was held from August
25th through August 27th. The training showed how party
