Dear Comrade John Bachtell,

Dear Comrades in fight!

Please accept greetings of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine and me personally with the  31st Congress of the Communist Party of the United States of America, the party that in 2019 celebrates its 100th anniversary.

Your congress is a review of the forces and summing up of the work done, a powerful impetus to revitalize the work of the whole party, every communist, a challenge to political opponents, an appeal to friends and allies, with your programmatic vision of the political and socio-economic problems of the country, ways to solve them in accordance with new realities and challenges of the modern world.

The Communist Party of Ukraine today is being persecuted and banned for political reasons by the nationalistic oligarchic regime seized power as a result of the armed coup in February 2014 and the anti-constitutional laws on decommunization. Our Party that in violation of all international legal norms is not allowed by the neo-Nazi authorities to participate in presidential, parliamentary and local elections, supports your principled position on the fact that today mankind is experiencing a deep global crisis of the capitalist system and economy, the glaring income gap between the bourgeoisie and the working people, the refugee crisis, local imperialist military conflicts and wars, the rise of international terrorism, fascist and extreme right-wing nationalist movements, the growing nuclear danger, threats of climate and environmental crises, other social conflicts, which creates the danger of the start of the third world war.

We, the Communists of Ukraine, welcome the growing interest of American workers, especially young people, to socialism and express our confidence that the US Communist Party will be at the forefront of the development of this historically verified and promising historical and political process. We assure, dear comrades in the struggle, that we will make every effort to consolidate our international friendship, to reinforce our joint struggle for the unity and solidarity of the international communist and labor movement, the struggle against world imperialism, exploitation man of man, international terrorism and fascism that raises his head, for social progress, democracy and democracy.

We wish you strong health, optimism, new political achievements for the benefit of the American working people!
