Halt US support for Israeli war in Lebanon and genocide in Palestine

The recent barbaric and dangerous “pager attacks” by Israel against Hezbollah are yet another dangerous escalation of the growing regional conflict. The CPUSA joins our fraternal Parties in the region in condemning these actions and calling for an immediate cessation of the war in Lebanon and the genocide in Palestine.

The Netanyahu government is determined to continue its violent actions to preserve his hold on power and to serve the fanatical Zionist goals of his government. Even Israel’s own military leaders express that further escalation of violence with Lebanon would be disastrous for everyone in the region, including Israel. Despite this, the Israeli government perpetrated the “pager attack” that killed dozens and wounded thousands across Lebanon. Among the injured were children and other innocent civilians.

The United States government continues to serve the military industrial complex by arming, funding and enabling the Israeli war machine. The United States is complicit in these war crimes. We call on the US government to immediately cease these actions. We call on all peace loving and progressive forces to join together and help put an end to the horrors being perpetrated by the Israeli regime, with the help of the US government.
