The Communist Party USA condemns the arrests of comrades Omar Awad, Osama Zain Aldin, and Bahaa Aldin Hisham Ahmad of the Jordanian Communist Party, and demands their immediate and unconditional release in accordance with international law. This baseless act of anti-communist repression is an affront to all peaceful, sovereign and democratic forces under conditions of intensifying imperialist war.
We affirm our resolute solidarity with the three arrested comrades, and with the struggle of the Jordanian Communist Party to fully realize rights of political activity and organization for the entire working class.
