Many celebrations are related to the Winter Solstice. Although winter is often marked by shorter days, coldness, and dormancy, the Solstice marks a “turning of the sun.”
In the wake of the great 2018 elections victory, expectations are high for a “turning of the sun,” whereby our multi-racial working class and people will go on the offensive for a new People’s Green Agenda in Washington D.C., state legislatures and municipalities across the country. We share the new sense of optimism, expectations and hopes for the New Year.
We extend best wishes, good health, and our hope for many new victories in 2019, to all our members, friends, supporters and allies.
