Steve Bishop is a longstanding and senior member of the Central Executive Council of the Committee for the Defence of the Iranian People’s Rights (CODIR) and the editorial of its journal, Iran Today. He is also a member of Liberation and regular contributor to the Liberation Journal.
August 19th marked the 70th anniversary of the Britain- and U.S.- planned coup in 1953 in Iran, which overthrew the democratically-elected Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh.
