Marxism demands a concrete analysis of a concrete situation. This is fundamental to an understanding of Marxist strategy and tactics. The concept of strategy and tactics must be updated and applied to the specific situation the working class is dealing with at any given moment – in this case the post-election period and Trump’s presidency. In particular, neoliberal capitalism and the specific gravity of its current crisis and how it impacts the working class must be understood. The GOP drive to implement right-to-work laws all across the country is clearly key but it’s not the only issue.
