Battle Creek, MI – with a population of just 50,000 – is home to a brand new CPUSA club still in the process of forming. Its core members are building an organization to not only promote socialism and communism, but also to tap into the rich heritage of racial and economic justice that run through the city and its history.
The club plans to build a new leftist political base to launch progressive campaigns and turn the electoral tide for local races and issues while at the same time spreading education and community to counter traditional capitalism.
As the only active CPUSA organization in the state outside Detroit, anyone from the region is welcome.
