Breaking right-wing majorities in the House and Senate will not dismantle U.S. imperialism. However, primary victories by left and progressive candidates show a new opening for cutting off support for Israel, winning relief for the people of Cuba, ending the war on Iran, and passing a budget based on human needs rather than imperialist predation. But seizing this opportunity — not to mention protecting the democratic rights of people here in the United States — requires a landslide electoral defeat of Trump-MAGA fascist forces. So what can we do between now and November to make these elections count — not just for our own people, but for the people of Cuba, Venezuela, Palestine, Iran, and every other nation whose people live in the shadow of U.S. imperialism?
