Trump’s campaign against DEI is an attempt to not only undo the gains of the Civil Rights movement, but to reverse even the results of the Civil War – as evidenced by the attack on the 14th Amendment. But Black History cannot be undone by legislative fiat. It grew out of African Americans’ tireless attempts to define themselves in a country whose ruling class governs by conscious systematic racism. We’re not going back!
