Members of the Peoria CPUSA in Illinois marched in the St. Patrick’s day parade with the Peoria Coalition for Palestine, helping to build support for a local ceasefire resolution.
Party members joined Code Pink, peace activists, and community members in fighting for the resolution, which is also being pushed for in Fargo, N.D.
Protestors marched on the state capital, demanding a ceasefire and calling for a free Palestine.
Pro-peace veterans and their supporters, including members of the Communist Party, delivered letters at 13 federal buildings calling for an investation into potential crimes.
Members of the club spoke at the action, where hundreds of people and various community organizations were present.
