Protect birthright citizenship!

Call your Senators and Representative in Congress and tell them to refuse to allow Donald Trump’s unconstitutional executive order ending birthright citizenship to stand. Denying citizenship to infants born in the US of immigrant parents is a brazen attempt to overturn the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution. It is being challenged in court by 22 states. The 14th Amendment is clear — every person born on US soil has the right to full citizenship and to live life freely in the country where they were born. Resist Trump and MAGA’s McCarthyism 2.0!

Call and write your representatives in the House and Senate and tell them to Vote NO on the Crucial Communism Teaching Act , which, like HR9495, came before the House in the last Congress to attack progressive movements, and is sure to be reintroduced. The GOP is labeling everything they don’t agree with as “socialist” or “communist” — including even Joe Biden and Kamala Harris — to split and divide the anti-MAGA coalition.

McCarthyism was built on the Big Lie that socialism is evil, undemocratic, and conspiratorial. Its victims included not only the professed communists, but — by extension — every movement of which they were a part. Unions and workers of all stripes were targeted, as well as teachers, artists, college professors, religious figures, scientists, athletes, peace advocates, and community activists. Trump and MAGA’s McCarthyism 2.0 is directed against an entire generation seeking fundamental change. It will come after every person who fights for social progress, every democratic right won through struggle, and every remaining piece of the social safety net. This bill would provide access to classrooms across the country for the so-called “Victims of Communism” group, an organization founded by Project 2025’s main sponsor, Lee Edwards. We cannot allow our schools to be turned into propaganda mills for the MAGA right!
