How a coal miner’s strike in rural Alabama at the turn of the 20th century shaped the life and outlook of civil rights activist Pauline Taylor,  a participant in the Little Steel Strike,  candidate for governor of Ohio,  signer of the Stockholm Peace Appeal and anti-war activist.
