On January 5, 2021, Georgia elected two firsts: an African American senator and a Jewish American senator. This was the result of a decades-long struggle. We will hear from a Georgia activist on the grassroots work that led to this achievement. We’ll also look back over the years at some of the individuals who shaped the struggle in Georgia, including our own Debbie Bell, a founding member of SNCC.
