Kroger’s refusal to address chronic understaffing, its unlawful union-busting tactics, and its prioritization of maximizing profits and stock buybacks over the well-being of its workers and the community are unacceptable. Workers are fighting for improved staffing to better serve their local communities because a safe place to work is a safe place to shop. Better staffing means a better shopping experience, healthier food, and stronger communities.
