Is Marxism Outdated?

Join the New York State Communist Party for a series of Marxist study group sessions.

The next study session will be this Sunday, December 8th, 2 pm — 4 pm at the Henry Winston Unity Hall (235 West 23rd Street, 7th floor, New York 10011). To RVSP or get more information, contact ny@cpusa.org.

The focus of this Sunday’s discussion group will be on Marxist strategy and tactics. Here is a link to the readings and video.

Please read as much as you are able, but do not worry if you are only able to read some of it. We will also read and discuss select portions during the class, and all are welcome to attend and contribute to the discussion.

Subsequent sessions:

Session 3 will be focused on the centrality of the fight against racism. Date and texts TBD.

Previous session(s):

On November 17th, we discussed Marxist political-economy, based on chapters 2 and 3 from Daniel Rubin’s Can Capitalism Last?, and pages pages 64-84 from V. I. Lenin’s Introduction to Marx, Engels, Marxism.
